One of the jurors, Linda Kenney, led a campaign to get Scoates released after 4 years in prison. She believed he needed to be forgiven (but obviously and in my opinion completely ignored the victim and his loved ones). Once he was released, he went to Maryland, and was involved in another murder. I wonder how she felt about that. If he had spent his entire sentence, the victim of the second murder, Robert Austin Bell, would still be alive.
