Laquita Townsend, Marcus Greene and Zachary Kilgore all pled guilty on 11/5/2012. Apparently there were some inconsistencies that came up in testimonies and evidence. Laquita Townsend pled to misdemeanors that allowed her to go home free that day. Zachary Kilgore pled guilty to being a felon with a weapon and leaving the scene with the guns. He was sentenced to 5 years in prison. Marcus Greene pled guilty to manslaughter and no contest to manslaughter. He will serve 20 years. Of course, his sister said that the pleas were justice for everyone! Wow, I am just astounded by that statement. How on earth is that justice? They should all be in prison for life. Now that would be justice. How is 20 years in prison by one participant justice for the Wood family? They lost 2 family members. They do not get to write, visit or talk to them, whereas she can visit her brother in prison, talk to him on the phone or write letters. She has no right to talk about how this is justice. It is not. I hope that there is no parole for either Marcus Greene or Zachary Kilgore. They got a huge break as it is. I am just disgusted by this INJUSTICE.
