Clarence Aaron: An example of bad sentencing laws – You decide

Clarence AaronClarence Aaron, who once introduced 2 drug dealers, was sentenced to 3 terms of LWOP. However, he got more time being a first-time non-violent offenders, low man on the totem pole, than the drug kingpin of the operation received. He received more time than those who are in prison for murder. Others in the group (who were MUCH more involved) received far lesser sentences (one got 7 years one got 10 years), but he will die in prison. And let’s be honest, he was not one of the “bad guys” here. He did not sell the drugs – just introduced 2 people. He has served 15 years now, and personally, that is more than enough for his crime. He has petitioned Bush and Obama for a pardon. He also has the endorsement of the Judge and Prosecutor on his case.
