Just as I suspected, he got a plea deal, and a sweet one at that. It is NOT justice, and the family hates it, too. However, it was the only way they were going to find Jacque Sue’s body, and that was important. He says he lost his temper, but his actions after that affected so many, especially his children. In court, James Waller heard the following recording: “I never want to see you again for my entire life.” from his 7-year-old son. I am sure (well, mostly hope) that those words haunt him for the rest of his life.
