Gary Michael Hilton was sentenced to life for the murder of Meredith Emerson. He was then sentenced to death for the murder of Cheryl Dunlap. The he received 2 consecutive federal life sentences. Since there is no parole in the federal system, those are LWOP. However, the death sentence trumps all other sentences. These are for his known victims. I do not know if there are more. He has not said. Gary Michael Hilton may not be a young man (he is 66 years old), but he caused enough sorrow and pain as anyone younger than him. He deserves his death sentence and I hope it is carried out soon. The families of these victims deserve to be able to move on. Justice is needed for these victims.
