Wade Ridley committed suicide while he was in prison. He was serving 28-70 years for the attack on Mary Kay Beckman. He was still facing charges for the robbery-murder of Anne Simenson (I have seen her name also as Simerson). Online dating can be scary, but it can also have good results. For some, online dating is easier, especially for those who are extremely shy, etc. However, since Match.com really promotes their site, talking about how much better it is than any other online dating sites, they need to do better screening before saying such things. For example, Wade Ridley had prior felonies, which a background check would have revealed this. Maybe if they had done this (just a suggestion mind you) both of these women could have been safe and alive. Plus, I have heard of several other rapes from Match.com matches.
