Crystal Dittmeyer
Benjamin Crider II, Crystal’s stepfather, was convicted of her murder in 1998 and sentenced to life in prison. However, it was overturned in October 2001. His retrial was deemed a mistrial by the judge. Just before his 3rd trial, he confessed and agreed to a plea deal. He pled guilty to manslaughter and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. He died May 28, 2008. He never said where he put Crystal’s body.
