LOS ANGELES, Calif. (October 10, 2016) — Crime Watch Daily with Chris Hansen has the true story of the film hitting theaters nationwide with an exclusive national television interview from behind bars with Joseph Kerekes, one part of the murderous duo who slayed gay porn king, Bryan Kocis. During the interview, Kerekes, whose character in the film is played by actor James Franco, appears for the first time to confess that he had more involvement in the murder than he has previously let on saying, “What I did that night wasn’t farfetched. I was there, I heard it, I was jealous, I said ‘this is enough.’ And that’s the first time I’ve ever told any news outlet, anybody, about the fact that…the movie and I guess Franco had me there…nothing has ever gotten it right. Different levels of involvement maybe, but never gotten their finger on it because the prosecution never did.” Kerekes later backtracks and says, “Though my hand did not swipe Kocis’ neck physically, I did it in every other sense.” He also goes on to chillingly say, “I want [viewers] to realize the only mistake we made in our entire lives was deciding to personally end Kocis’ life. You know, I say personally because I don’t think it was a mistake to end his life. It was disgusting, he was, somebody that needed to be removed to further our business just like we had done a couple other times in the past, but it was done with other people, so I want people to realize that we turned a seedy disgusting business into something that was upstanding and professional and there’s a way to do this and be very, very successful.”
