He had already been in prison for similar offenses, so they wanted to show that they were not going to allow this kind of behavior to continue. Children don’t deserve to be hurt like this. I think this was appropriate. It may not be realistic after all, but still, he will be locked up until he takes his last breath and will never hurt another child. And that is a good thing!
